For centuries, the Ute people have thrived in the Rocky Mountains using their systemmatic knowledge of diverse ecoystems and innovations in technology. Today, Ute elders have partnered with scientists to explore the connections between Ute traditional knowledge and contemporary science practice.
In this session, we'll explore hands-on classroom activities that highlight how generations of Ute people used STEM to engineer shelters, find food and create artwork, in the past and in the present.
