The CAS 2020 require all students to engage in crosscutting concepts, science and engineering practices, and disciplinary core ideas at the same time. This is going to require some new assessment items. We will analyze five different assessment tasks to see what makes them "aligned" with the new vision for science and equity laid out in the CAS 2020 standards. We will also present task "starters" that can help you write items to engage all students in 3D learning.
